Antoine Lefort 

An atypical Head Sommelier from Tours, Antoine Lefort can boast of having a career that is, to say the least, unusual. His first life, devoted to studies in economics (HEC preparation and Haute Ecole de Commerce) will lead to the creation of several companies in the field of sports animation which he will manage until 2013, when he will take a radical turn. to devote himself to his lifelong love: wine. From then on, a second life begins.

Passionate man, great traveler (he has traveled almost all of the European vineyards), he will quickly establish himself in Touraine as a key player in the world of wine and gastronomy.

 First of all as Room Manager and Head Sommelier of the famous restaurant Charles Barrier * in Tours, avenue de la Tranchée. He will train there for 2 years Alexis Boisseau (current sommelier at Anne-Sophie Pic *** ) and Théo Lignelet who will follow him afterwards to the Château d'Artigny, in 2016. At 35, he will have succeeded in the bet of forming a cellar considered one of the richest in the region . Indeed, with more than 800 references, the wine list of the restaurant l'Origan now covers a large part of the world's vineyards and offers enlightened connoisseurs a few extremely rare bottles. For the past 3 years, this tea enthusiast has also been offering his customers wonderful pairings, bringing up-to-date “Western-style tea service” in Art Nouveau porcelain from Lenox… quite a program!

Antoine Lefort is also an active member of the Union De la Sommellerie Française (UDSF) , and taught sommellerie for 5 years at the Lycée Agricole et Viticole d'Amboise. Having participated in the selections for the Best Sommelier of France Competition in 2018, he is currently preparing the release of a book devoted to the secret itinerary of a sommelier in Touraine... A sensitive and committed man, he is the official partner and the private sommelier big events  sponsored by Valéry Giscard D'estaing, Yves Camdeborde and the association SOS Chrétiens d'Orient (organizer of charity dinners at the Invalides in 2019, Val de Grâce in 2018, etc.).
